What You’ll Do

  • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Work independently and as a team to drive maximum repair efficiency.
  • Consistently and concisely detail and document repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
  • Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
  • Repair vehicle automotive systems including steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors.
  • Inspect and test used vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  • Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of the new technology and techniques on the vehicle model lines.
  • Regularly required to:
    • Sit, stand and walk
    • Use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach
    • Speak and hear
    • Use close vision abilities
    • Operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • Occasionally, required to:
    • Lift or move up to 50 lbs
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Noise Level: Low to moderate
