Job description

We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Entry-Level Financial Advisor who is eager to build a career in financial services and willing to learn individual tax preparation as part of the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in personal finance, and wants to develop a broad understanding of financial planning, investments, retirement strategies, and tax preparation. Prior financial advising or tax experience is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their financial goals, needs, and priorities.
  • Assist with developing financial plans and recommendations under appropriate supervision.
  • Learn and explain basic financial products, retirement strategies, investments, insurance, and other planning concepts.
  • Assist with client onboarding, account paperwork, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Learn the fundamentals of individual income tax preparation.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial and tax information.
  • Stay current with relevant financial and tax rules, regulations, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Follow all applicable compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interest in financial planning and tax preparation.
