As a result, our team needs an experienced Aerospace Sales/Estimator with strong knowledge of precision machining and AS9100 QMS. In this important role, you will contact customers and potential customers to gather information, estimate projects, and prepare quotes to ensure that the customer requirements are met. You'll play a key role in connecting world-class customers with precision manufacturing solutions they can trust. Responsibilities:
  • Ability to develop quotes by partnering with existing suppliers and researching alternatives
  • Skill with communicating across diverse teams of customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 QMS
  • Experience estimating precision machined parts
  • Experience in direct sales
  • Responsible for Customer development, ongoing service of existing customers, quoting, and order entry.
  • Maintain existing customers, interfacing with purchasing, engineering and quality.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Responsible for pricing and adjustments.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and outside personnel.
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, and company policies.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous estimating experience
  • Direct sales experience with emphasis on major accounts
  • Able to read blueprints and general knowledge of Tooling and Machining.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and formal and group presentations.
  • Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, employees, and the general public.
