What You’ll Do
As a Sales Engineer, you own the Washington, Alaska, and British Columbia territory. You’ll be the go-to technical expert for world-class engineering teams.
- Solve Complex Engineering Problems: Partner with test and measurement engineers to understand their application needs and architect tailored DAQ hardware and software solutions.
- Run Live Technical Demos: Get hands-on with cutting-edge signal conditioning, sensors, and DAQ hardware. Show—don't just tell—how our technology simplifies complex data collection.
- Be a Trusted Technical Advisor: Build long-term relationships with key accounts by providing expert product insight, solution scoping, and post-sale technical guidance.
- Drive Regional Growth: Map out market opportunities across aerospace, clean energy, and manufacturing; represent DEWESoft at key industry trade shows.
- Manage Your Business: Quote custom configurations, manage your pipeline in CRM, and execute a strategy that fits your territory.
What You Bring
- Technical Curiosity: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related), STEM, or Technical Business.
- Signal amp; Hardware Aptitude: Solid understanding of basic electrical principles (voltage, current, sensors) and a fast learning curve for complex DAQ/signal processing setups.
- Consultative Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical solutions for engineering teams.
- Autonomy amp; Grit: Self-motivated to manage a expansive PNW territory independently from a home office with 50–75% travel.
- Prerequisites: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel seamlessly across WA, AK, and BC.
