Job Summary:

The Career Navigator & Entrepreneurship Trainer is responsible for guiding individuals in both their career development and entrepreneurial pursuits. This role involves assessing clientsโ€™ skills and career goals, providing resources and strategies for job searching, professional development, and business creation, and facilitating training to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to launch and manage their own businesses.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct assessments to understand clientsโ€™ career objectives, skills, values, and entrepreneurial aspirations.
  • Develop personalized career and entrepreneurship plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide guidance on resume writing, cover letter creation, interview preparation, job search techniques, and networking strategies.
  • Design and implement entrepreneurship training programs, workshops, and seminars focused on core concepts of business planning, marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Teach and facilitate interactive sessions to encourage participant engagement in both career development and entrepreneurship.
  • Mentor clients in job search, career transitions, and business development processes.
  • Assist clients in identifying educational, training, and business opportunities to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, labor market data, and resources available to entrepreneurs.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust coaching strategies accordingly.
  • Create and deliver instructional materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources for career and business development.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment and encourage networking among participants.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of career and entrepreneurship programs and make improvements as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Arabic highly desirable
  • Proven experience in career coaching, entrepreneurship, business development, or training.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with business planning tools, job market trends, and career development resources.
  • Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Willingness to learn and implement new and innovative approaches to employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Experience working with a diverse, low-income population, particularly those with multiple barriers.
  • Ability to work with clients at different academic and employability skill levels.
