Responsibilities

  • Ensure high visibility around the lodge and at daily events to act as "Host/Face of the lodge"
  • Ensure the Kid’s Entertainment schedule is executed to brand standards and on-time for each offering
  • Ensure leadership presence on the floor during all scheduled Kid’s Entertainment offerings
  • The KE Supervisor will provide consistent leadership to the pack, especially when the KE Manager is not on duty
  • Provide training, as a Certified Trainer, to new KE Pack Members to engage and entertain guests
  • Assist lodge entertainment leader in providing coaching around performance and entertainment and engagement skills.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and new experiences to expand presence and impact with the team in the lodge
  • Work with Entertainment leader to ensure Kid’s Entertainment Brand Standards, including scheduling are met
  • Assist in participating and providing feedback on corporate projects, as assigned
  • Along with lodge entertainment leader, collaborate around personnel related matters including: Recruitment and hiring, performance management, disciplinary action, training, etc
  • Elevate and perform all branded experiences consistently according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide High Paws cards for recognition of exceptional Pack Members
  • Build relationships with key partners such as I.T. and Engineering to follow-up on work orders (proactive and reactive)
  • Assist in leadership for all aspects of Kid’s Entertainment programming at the property
  • Provide support to all necessary community appearances. This includes but is not limited to sponsors, charities, tradeshows, media and private functions
  • Willingness to represent Great Wolf Lodge, our mission and core values, in a positive manner on and off site
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for guests and Pack Members


Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • In good standing and exceeding performance in the Entertainment Ambassador role (i.e. positive attitude, reliable, comfortable in front of guests, expert in events/activities)
  • Must have prior experience working with children
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction
  • Event planning knowledge
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures
  • Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen
  • Communication skills, ability to manage a team


Desired Qualifications & Traits

  • Previous experience in a related field such as Entertainment, Hospitality, or Education
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Charismatic, enthusiastic attitude
  • Proven teamwork skills


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to fit and wear character suits; maintain composure in character suits; including heat and humidity for periods of 60 minutes
  • Ability to dance and perform in hot, humid, and outdoor environments for periods up to 60 minutes.
