Position Summary

Enterprise Strategy is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the company's long-term strategy, identifying key priorities tied to enterprise imperatives, and enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

As a Manager on the Enterprise Strategy team, you will play a key role in advancing an internal consulting capability designed to improve responsiveness to business needs, strengthen institutional knowledge, reduce reliance on external partners, and enhance execution.

In parallel, you will contribute to the end-to-end execution of high-priority, high-visibility strategic initiatives across the Enterprise, business units, and shared services. Your work will directly inform leadership decision-making, including the evaluation of trade-offs that impact business performance, growth, cost savings, strategic direction, and operational effectiveness.

Primary Areas of Focus

Internal Consulting Capability Development

  • Support the establishment, execution, and continuous improvement of an internal consulting function within Enterprise Strategy
  • Contribute to development of project intake, prioritization, and performance tracking processes
  • Help build institutional knowledge, reusable tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Support tracking and reporting of portfolio performance, including impact, utilization, and value delivered

Strategy Execution & Project Delivery

  • Support execution of high-priority strategic projects from problem definition through implementation across enterprise, business unit, and functional stakeholders
  • Structure ambiguous business problems, develop workplans, and drive execution across defined workstreams
  • Contribute to evaluation of strategic trade-offs, risks, and opportunities to inform rapid, data-driven decision-making
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and successful delivery of outcomes

Key Functional Responsibilities

Analytics & Insights

  • Conduct market and competitive research
  • Develop quantitative analyses, financial models, and scenario-based insights
  • Synthesize datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership audiences

Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Own analytics related to pilot programs and strategic initiatives, including KPI definition, dashboard creation, and performance tracking
  • Monitor initiative performance against expected outcomes; identify risks and opportunities for optimization
  • Support communication of results, implications, and recommendations to stakeholders

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop executive-ready presentations and materials that clearly communicate insights and recommendations
  • Participate in discussions and presentations with business and senior leadership
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to enable collaboration and execution across a matrixed organization

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, corporate finance, related analytical/business roles; and or completion of CVS GMDP Program.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience with quantitative analysis and data-driven insights.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in healthcare or similarly complex, highly regulated industries

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,360.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
