Mackin Engineering & Consulting is seeking a motivatedAssistant Structural Engineer to join our growing team based in Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on a wide variety of building and infrastructure projects while developing strong technical and professional skills in a collaborative consulting environment.

As an Assistant Structural Engineer, you will support the design, analysis, and inspection of structural systems, helping deliver safe, efficient, and code-compliant solutions for our clients.

What you'll Do:

  • Assistwith the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Perform structural calculations and modeling to verify safety, stability, and code compliance
  • Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals
  • Participate in site visits and inspections tomonitorconstruction progress and conformance to design intent
  • Support senior engineers during project meetings and design reviews

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
