Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Program Manager to support our government customers in the execution of complex programs for Department of Defense initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with Technical Leads and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that project milestones, budgets, and schedules are realistic and adhered to.

Duties Include:

  • Work closely with Technical Leads and project teams to guide large hardware development and production projects to completion, ensuring alignment with government specifications and standards.
  • Identify and track project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program timelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions without compromising project quality and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to government contracting regulations and standards, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of field data collection events at various test ranges.
  • Provide program oversight and provide guidance to subcontractors on priorities and tasking.
  • Assist government personnel in the creation of reports and briefings.
  • Management of key vendor relationships, including working closely with our in-house procurement team to ensure successful and timely procurements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between project technical teams and customers.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new product and capabilities development opportunities that are natural extensions of current programs, enabling expansion into new customer segments, mission areas, and acquisition programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar from an accredited university program.
  • At least 12 years of experience managing projects and programs for DoW customers.
  • Experience managing $20M+ annual hardware development firm fixed price contract.
  • U.S. Citizenship required, and successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • Ability to maintain an active SECRET clearance.

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of hardware design and integration processes is strongly preferred, especially as it pertains to aviation and missile systems.
  • 15+ years of experience managing projects and programs for DoW customers.
  • Experience with Jamis Prime or similar ERP
  • Masters degree in Engineering
  • An active SECRET clearance

Work Environment:

Office, laboratory, and field environment. Must be willing to travel to customer locations, field tests, and meetings 10%-15%.
