Job description

Overview

The Program Manager II demonstrates FAR and DoD knowledge in every aspect. The program manager is knowledgeable in all contract requirement efforts.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated competence in the management of limited and complex programs that include "build to print", design and Tech Data Package (TDP) development, integration, and test.  Knowledgeable in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DOD) regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures.  Practical and specific experience in managing various projects and contract activities including Commercial, DOD, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) to ensure cost, schedule, and performance requirements are met.  Practical and specific experience in working with-in a matrix organization and with multiple functions and disciplines including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Integration, Logistics, Contracts, and Configuration Management. 

Qualifications

Experience:  4 years required in Program/Project Management.  6 years, desired. 

Education: 

Bachelor's Degree in Management or Engineering discipline Required.  Advanced degree, desired. 

Program Management Professional (PMP) or DoD Acquisition Certification, desired.

Additional Requirements:

                Experience in the management of aviation programs desired.
