Are you a hands‑on engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of product innovation, manufacturing excellence, and team development?

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead product engineering, R&D, and continuous improvement initiatives at our Muskego, WI manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, driving operational performance, managing capital projects up to $5M, and developing a high‑performing engineering team.

What You'll Do

As Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and launch of new products from concept through production
  • Drive engineering initiatives focused on product performance, reliability, quality, and cost reduction
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver innovative and manufacturable solutions
  • Manage capital projects ranging from $50K to $5M, from business case through implementation
  • Oversee CAD standards, product documentation, design reviews, and engineering best practices
  • Support manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve OEE
  • Lead root cause investigations, customer issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Develop supplier relationships to enhance product quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical professionals
  • Serve as a technical leader and key contributor to strategic business initiatives
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Process Engineering
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience
  • Strong experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Expertise in new product development and product lifecycle management
  • Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards
  • Experience using CATIA or similar advanced CAD systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience leading capital projects and manufacturing improvements
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, or Continuous Improvement experience
  • Customer-facing problem‑solving and quality systems experience
  • Experience working closely with suppliers and production operations
