Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Administrative Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Portland, OR. This role supports engineering project delivery by coordinating document control, tracking design package activity, maintaining project schedules, and helping engineering teams stay organized and aligned.
This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented administrative professional with an engineering, project delivery, or document control background who enjoys working in a collaborative technical environment. The role offers exposure to multidisciplinary engineering teams, supportive project leadership, structured processes, and the opportunity to contribute directly to successful design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the engineering lead with administrative engineering tasks, including design package schedules, design review sign-offs, checklists, and project documentation.
- Maintain document control at the discipline level while coordinating with project document control, design automation teams, discipline leads, and department managers.
- Track design changes, revision control, equipment lists, calculations, schedules, and other discipline tools.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for design staff assigned to the project team.
- Take meeting notes, organize engineering and administrative data, and help ensure project information is accurate and accessible.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to support deliverable schedules, safety standards, and project expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $69,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid candidates who can work from Portland, OR.
