Job description

FISE Remote Monitoring Center Specialist - Houston, TX
LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN
Job Purpose
Remotely support execution of Field Services jobs at rig sites. This includes monitoring multiple jobs, maintaining data accuracy in the Tenaris online platform, and addressing operational challenges through troubleshooting and proactive quality assurance. The role also involves verifying platform functionality, enhancing communication with stakeholders, and driving efficiency improvements, ultimately contributing to the success of well construction operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Job Monitoring and Data Management
  • Oversee rig operations to support Field Services at rig sites by guiding troubleshooting actions, monitoring multiple jobs simultaneously, and reviewing real-time data and trends for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and validation in the Tenaris online platform while proactively identifying and resolving anomalies or quality issues through routine QA/QC checks.

Platform and System Maintenance
  • Verify pre-job checklists, conduct connectivity tests, and ensure the platform's continuous functionality through regular monitoring.
  • Perform basic operations and software troubleshooting, escalating issues only when necessary.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve concerns and improve efficiency.
  • Follow established protocols for issue resolution and propose enhancements to communication and operations.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in field services (casing and torque turn).
  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or a related field from a four-year college is desirable.
  • Fundamental understanding of well construction operations, including pipe running, torque turn, and rig systems and equipment.
  • Proficiency in data entry and the use of web-based platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong procedural focus.
  • Excellent analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule
  • Availability to work in a rotational schedule: day and night shifts, as well as weekends as per the defined schedule.
