Job description

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Aurora Cooperative Energy Sales personnel will engage current and new customers to grow our Energy business

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To understand and clearly communicate Aurora Cooperative Energy Division products and services offered to current and new customers

To work with Energy Delivery and Service personnel to complete and excellent service experience for our customers and locations

Ability to understand location P & L Statements to maintain and improve company financials

Ability to understand and communicate Energy Division markets, programs, and services we offer

Cross selling Aurora Cooperative products to current & new customers

Personal ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry to provide trustworthy value to our customers

Working with Energy Division locations operations personnel and assisting when needed

Assist other departments as needed

Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Good communication skills with customers & fellow employees

Computer, iPhone & iPad skills with Excel, Power Point, and Word programs

Energy products (Diesel Fuels, Gasoline/Ethanol blends, Propane, Lubricants, Petro. Equipment, Tire, etc.) knowledge is important, can train the right person

Energy Division equipment knowledge is important, can train the right person

Class B Operator license or capable of obtaining

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience in energy business and products is important, can train the right person
