Resource Innovations is seeking a Energy Efficiency Retail Program Lead to join our growing team in Michigan. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our Michigan-based energy efficiency initiatives. You will serve as the primary liaison between our program and major retailers to facilitate point-of-purchase discount programs. Your goal is to make energy-efficient products more affordable and accessible for residential customers across the state. This role will work with a growing team of experience energy efficiency program professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and may have the opportunity to contribute to additional new business proposals and new program development.

Resource Innovations (RI) is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. Building on our expertise in energy efficiency, we're constantly expanding our portfolio of clean energy solutions to guide utilities through increasingly complex, connected challenges. Load flexibility. Electrification. Carbon reduction. With every step, we're leading the charge to power change.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary analyst within our proprietary project management system to track program benchmarks, retailer participation and incentive budget impact
  • Develop and generate unique coupon codes and promotional identifiers tailored to specific retail partners (Loweโ€™s, Home Depot, etc.)
  • Reconcile monthly sales and redemption data provided by retailers against internal system records to ensure accuracy in rebate processing
  • Coordinate with retail corporate offices to ensure coupon codes are properly integrated into their respective POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • Analyze redemption trends and program sell-through data to provide actionable insights to the Program Manager(s)
  • Conduct rigorous internal audits of data entries to prevent duplication of incentives and ensure compliance with utility regulatory requirements
  • Maintain detailed SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for code generation and data uploading within the project management system
  • Develop and maintains accurate and timely reporting
  • Creates and collaborates on procedural documentation in support of the Program Manager
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity in all internal and external reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years in data coordination, program operations, or retail analyticsโ€”preferably within the energy, utility, or rebate sectors
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience managing complex datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master proprietary software and project management tools
  • High level of precision in data entry and code generation; an "eye for the small things" is essential to avoid large-scale data errors
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines for various seasonal promotion rollouts
  • Ability to translate technical data findings into clear, concise updates for non-technical stakeholders
  • Process-oriented with a focus on streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
  • Results-driven and able to collaborate across all levels of an organization to deliver on commitments and meet objectives.
  • Independent worker capable of taking ownership of assigned tasks, proposing solutions, and suggesting improvements to existing processes related to reporting, tracking, and analysis.
  • Able to meet deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education and experience

  • B.A. degree in Business Operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or B.A. / B.S. Degree in related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
