Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for an 8-week Epic conversion contract requiring proficiency in both Epic and Cerner, with CA licensure required.

Details
  • Emergency Department (ER) setting
  • Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
  • 8-week contract supporting an Epic EMR conversion
  • Both Epic and Cerner EMR systems are actively used and required
Requirements
  • Active CA RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
  • Minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months required
  • Cerner experience required; must be proficient with both Epic and Cerner
  • Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
  • Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior hits or disciplinary actions
  • 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year, one from within the past two years
  • Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
  • This is a short-term, 8-week Epic conversion contract
  • No RTO (time off) will be approved for this contract; candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
  • Orientation is available on two dates at the start of the contract period
  • All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
