Job Description:
Provides comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified as being at nutritional risk or requiring specialized dietary support. Responsibilities include nutritional assessments and reassessments, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, providing patient and family education, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and documenting all interventions in accordance with facility policies and professional standards. Delivers high-quality clinical nutrition care while demonstrating strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent (Required)
• Master's Degree (Required only for candidates whose RD exam eligibility began on or after January 1, 2024)
• Completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship or equivalent (Required)
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification, or eligible to obtain RD within 6 months of completing the dietetic residency (Required)
• Previous Clinical Dietitian experience (Preferred)

• Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months is REQUIRED.
• Must have both EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years.
• EMR experience must have been obtained while working as an employee or on a successfully completed contract assignment.
• Each employment entry on the resume must specify the charting system used.
• If more than one EMR/charting system is listed for the same employer, the dates for each EMR system must be clearly specified.
• This assignment is supporting an EPIC conversion/backfill, so EMR experience is a strict requirement.

• Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Floating: Required to other facilities (AHDL, AHTV, and AHSB) based on staffing and patient census; primary work location will be AHBD
• RTO (Requested Time Off): Not permitted
• Start Date: Firm (no flexibility)
