You'll be the go-to partner for a designated business unit, championing employee experience across the full HR spectrum-from onboarding and engagement to compliance and talent development. Essential Functions:

  • Provide hands-on HR support to employees and leaders, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for employee relations, guiding performance management, benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns.
  • Manage the Kronos attendance system and ensure consistent policy administration.
  • Coordinate hourly employee reviews and drive timely completion.
  • Resolve mid-level to complex employee relations issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Coach managers and employees on performance, development, and disciplinary processes.
  • Lead investigations and offer actionable recommendations aligned with company policies.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment, sourcing strategies, and local hiring initiatives.
  • Facilitate engaging onboarding experiences to help new hires thrive from day one.
  • Organize employee engagement and community involvement events that build connection and culture.
  • Advise on key HR cycles including succession planning, talent reviews, and merit planning.
  • Walk the shop floor to build rapport with hourly employees and promote a strong workplace presence.
  • Manage compliance documentation for ADA, Workers' Compensation, and FMLA; may lead Workers' Comp programs.
  • Partner with HR Shared Services and Centers of Excellence to deliver impactful HR initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience in tactical roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field..
  • Skilled across multiple HR functions including systems, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR functions including compensation, labor law, performance management, and change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments highly preferred.
  • Comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • A clear and confident communicator who adapts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Workday
  • Experience with UKG timekeeping system
  • Able to juggle competing priorities while collaborating across teams.
  • Naturally curious and eager to innovate HR practices.

The hiring range for this position is $59,000-$85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual Brunswick Bonus. This position is eligible to participate in Brunswick's comprehensive and high-quality benefits offerings, including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401k (up to 4% match), Health Savings Account (with company contribution), well-being program, product purchase discounts and much more.
