Automotive Shop Manager | Up to $120K+ Earning Potential | Monday-Friday

Location: Mounds View, Minnesota
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm
Earning Potential: Up to $120,000+, with the opportunity to exceed $120,000 based on experience and performance

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Manager in Mounds View, Minnesota to lead daily operations and build an engaged, high-performing team. This role oversees customer experience, workflow, financial performance, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shop operations alongside Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and shop leadership.
  • Coach and develop employees while setting clear performance expectations.
  • Manage workflow, productivity, repair scheduling, and customer service.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including gross profit, car count, and billed hours.
  • Address escalated customer concerns and support a strong customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and team performance.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of relevant automotive shop management experience.
  • Automotive management or similar leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair operations and processes.
  • Experience managing financial and operational metrics, including labor efficiency, sales, and gross profit.
  • Proven ability to coach, engage, and develop a team.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with automotive software and management tools.

Compensation

  • Earning potential up to $120,000+, with the opportunity to exceed $120,000 based on experience and achievement of performance goals.
  • Performance goals are calculated bi-weekly based on performance against forecasted location gross profit, car count, billed hours, and all-store gross profit.
