Job Description
Are you a sales professional who knows the Texas market and enjoys turning opportunities into wins? In this field-based role, you will drive growth for Emerson's Flexim business across the Gulf West district, working directly with customers and distributors to solve real-world measurement challenges. Based in the Houston area, you'll combine regional expertise with consultative selling to expand our presence across key Texas industries.
This is a field-based position covering the Houston metro, Pasadena, Baytown, Texas City, Freeport, Sweeny, Victoria, Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Austin to grow the Flexim business.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Grow the Flexim Business and elevating product knowledge and strategy of account managers in the Gulf West District.
  • Develop sales across multiple industries (Building Automation, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, W&WW, Power Generation, Refining).
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to align sales & marketing strategies, including campaigns, webinars, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors and customers for all product and application requirements.
  • Create and implement a market business plan in cooperation with Regional Managers / Regional Sales Director to achieve budget targets.
  • Identify new applications, submarkets, and growth opportunities while monitoring market trends and competitive activity.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and develop distributors and end users on flow metering applications.
  • Provide regular progress updates and insights to leadership.

You identify and seize new opportunities. You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message. You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives.
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, a Technical field, or a related field
  • Minimum of six (6) years of industry experience; three (3) of which must be in sales or marketing
  • Hands-on experience with non-intrusive Ultrasonic Flow Technology
  • Ability to travel 60-70% within the district
  • Valid driver's license
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

The total target comp range (base + sales bonus) for this position is $140,000-$170,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
