Overview
Department: Emergency Dept
Shift: Days
Facility: Olympia Fields Hospital
Location: Olympia Fields, IL
Responsibilities
Manager of Emergency Department is responsible for the day to day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department. Supervises and monitors performance of the Emergency Department staff. Interacts with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and patients' families/significant other(s) to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. BLS upon hire and maintain current.
3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
4. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
5. PALS upon hire and maintain current.
6. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
7. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):
1. Non-OB facilities: NRP certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $80k to $108k on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
