About the Opportunity

Join Ellucian's Professional Services team as a Lifelong Learning Consultant, where you'll partner with higher education institutions to modernize continuing education, workforce development, and lifelong learning programs. You'll work with Ellucian Lifelong Learning, helping customers successfully implement solutions that expand access to learning beyond traditional degree programs.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, customer-focused, and interested in supporting higher education institutions in improving outcomes. You will work closely with senior team members, customers, and cross-functional partners to help ensure successful project delivery.

Where you will make an impact

  • Deliver and support customer training on product configuration and best practices, helping institutions maximize the value of their Ellucian Lifelong Learning solution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans in Smartsheet or similar tools, track milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot functional issues, recommend solutions, and support implementation activities.
  • Facilitate or support customer workshops, discovery sessions, and training to promote knowledge transfer and successful solution adoption.
  • Contribute to successful project outcomes by delivering high-quality consulting services aligned with customer goals and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Ellucian to share feedback and support continuous improvement of delivery practices.

 What will you bring

  • Experience with Elevate, Banner Accounts Receivable or Student or Colleague Accounts Receivable or Student a plus.
  • Experience in higher education, software services, customer success, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience delivering engaging instructor-led or virtual training sessions that support knowledge transfer for functional, administrative, and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information and support discovery or requirements discussions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot functional and integration issues by analyzing system configuration and business processes, identifying root causes, and communicating recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Experience using project tracking tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with continuing education business processes-including academic program administration, registration, tuition and fee management, payments, refunds, invoicing, employer funding, and payment provider integrations-is a plus.
  • Experience supporting or delivering customer training is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Ellucian products or continuing education solutions is helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies and consulting practices.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, primarily remote team environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to support customer implementations and training.
