Job Qualifications:

  1. Good organizational/leadership skills.
  2. Ability to work within a budget.
  3. Meets established deadlines.
  4. Availability to travel with students when required.
  5. Good written and oral communication skills.
  6. Current CPR Certificate, preferred


Essential Job Functions:
ย 

  1. Support with the coordination of district-wide activities and/or events in collaboration with the district, schools, and/or community representatives.
  2. Provide time and supervision, as needed, for students at coordinated events/activities.
  3. 3Attend coordinated after-school events/activities, which may/will include specific Friday evenings & Saturdays.
  4. Communicate with families, schools, and community partners on program information.
  5. Function as the point person for related after-school cheerleading.
  6. Attend related training sessions, as applicable.
  7. Coordinate with school representatives/club advisors.
  8. Coordinate in planning and scheduling cheerleading competitions and services needed through contractors and the Elementary Basketball League Coordinator.
Physical Requirements:ย While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to the finger(s), handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, use fingers to type and/or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell.ย  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, and color vision, peripheral and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.ย  The physical demands of this position will also include the ability of the individual to perform all of the essential functions and related responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Work Environment:ย  This position normally performs the majority of work in a school building or work office environment.
