Job description

Overview
Electrical project managers are responsible for overseeing and contributing to electrical projects for their organization. They are in charge of managing all aspects of electrical tasks and delegating responsibilities to electrical professionals.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, oversee and direct electrical projects for construction.
  • Disseminate relevant information to various departments related to the project.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain project schedule.
  • Develop project budget and track project costs according to contractual obligations.
  • Review and study project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, customer proposals and contracts.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in electrical project management, preferably in the construction industry. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Familiarity with electrical design, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
