About the Role

We are hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our electrical panel shop. This role will also supervise a team of technicians in the fabrication, assembly, and testing of electrical panels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the assembly of electrical control panels, distribution panels, and field service.
  • Organize, review, and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide the assembly process.
  • Allocate work to team members.
  • Oversee and participate in panel fabrication, wiring, and installation per specifications and drawings.
  • Inspect completed panels to ensure they meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, supporting skill development, growth, and safety.
  • Coordinate with project managers and departments to ensure on-time electrical panel delivery and provide regular or as-needed updates to the Production Manager.
  • Manage material inventory, placing orders to prevent shortages and meet project timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or mechanical issues during panel assembly and testing.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years working in an Electrical Panel Shop or related industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, wiring, and panel designs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to partner with clients, vendors, and other team members to deliver projects
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
