Job description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Engineering Manager
Summary:
We are looking for a motivated electrical engineer to join our team at RPI Incorporated. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical products, as well as providing technical support to our production team and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience in PCBA board design and OrCAD. Will be required to come into the office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical products, including PCBs, Wire harnesses, test fixtures and other electronic components.
  • Provide technical support to internal production and to customers, including answering questions and troubleshooting problems.
  • Work with other engineers to ensure that products meet specifications and requirements.
  • Work with program managers and sourcing team to build quotes
  • Stay up to date on the latest electrical engineering technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with experience in PCB design and OrCAD.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience with other electrical design software, such as Altium Designer or Mentor Graphics.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, such as SMT and CNC.
