What Will You Do?
Under the direction of the Product Support Engineering Team Lead, the Application Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Electrical, control and Refrigeration designs for Zero Zone products.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Work with Designers to create Design Files (i.e. drawings, models, etc.)
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to coordinate release of standard and non-standard product through production
  • Design and maintain theory of operations for the design.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for Effective Performance:
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in electro-mechanical controls or equivalent.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience

Skills/Abilities/Specifications:
  • Understand electro-mechanical systems
  • Understand selection and programming of control systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP system a plus.

Behavioral & Environmental Requirements:
  • Maintain a positive work attitude. Zero Zone expects all employees to behave and communicate in a manner which will facilitate good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisor.
  • Safety toe shoes and safety glasses are required while in production areas.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the office and production areas; have use of hands and fingers to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
