Project Location             Onsite in Hartford, WI

Project Duration-               2-6 months (2-4 months is the sweet spot but could go 6 months)

Job Description-:

client is looking for a senior electrical engineer to do a mix of design, simulation, test, and requirements work for a new product they’re developing. It is the gen two of an existing product offering. They will add a new microcontroller, and new I/Os to this device. It will include ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, CANbus, etc. This is primarily digital focused with some analog and low power considerations. This contract role is a stop gap opening lasting 2-6 months until they find a permanent employee.

Must:

  • Board level Electrical Engineering experience (primarily digital, some analog components including power supply integration)
  • Schematic capture, simulation, layout (not a huge emphasis)
    • They’re using Orcad, Altium, LTSpice but prior tool experience is flexible.
  • Simulation, thermal, EMI/EMC understanding – there will be a mix of these duties
