ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will be an integral part of multi-disciplinary design teams and will work under the direction of a licensed architect.
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO 
  • Leading the design programming, development, modification & review of planning concepts & solutions for higher education design projects including drafting master plans.
  • Utilizing Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Qualtrics & Mirto to develop feasibility studies & space needs assessments.
  • Assisting in development of architectural & planning concept drawings & specifications to translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction.
  • Implementing integrated sustainable design solutions.
  • Preparing architectural presentations for clients.
  • Leading user group meetings to collect and refine program needs & assess space utilization.
  • Communicate planning concepts to project teams & owners.

 ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree Architecture, Urban Design or related field required.
  • Must have 5 years' experience in the following areas:
  • Leading the design programming, development, modification & review of planning concepts & solutions for higher education design projects including drafting master plans.
  • Utilizing Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Qualtrics & Mirto to develop feasibility studies & space needs assessments.
  • Assisting in development of architectural & planning concept drawings & specifications to translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction.
  • Implementing integrated sustainable design solutions.
  • Preparing architectural presentations for clients.
  • Leading user group meetings to collect and refine program needs & assess space utilization.
  • Communicate planning concepts to project teams & owners.
  • Attending field site inspections.

The salary range for this position to be filled in the Boston, MA office is $101,800 to $127,300 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
