Aloft Beachwood is currently seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join their team in Beachwood, Ohio!

The right candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of prior hotel management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous Marriott experience preferred
  • Ability to work between departments in the hotel as needed
  • Ability to cover call-off shifts
  • Ability to work overnight shifts  
  • Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration preferred
  • Experience required may vary based on size and complexity of operation

Our Operations Manager will:

  • Speak to guests – ask for their feedback and build relationships.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.
  • Act as public relations representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in local community.
  • Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards.
  • Drive team member involvement in community organizations, activities, and businesses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance.
  • Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working with management company to maintain or improve property’s market leadership position.
