If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, Linchpin Solutions is the place to be! We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Developer.


Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is preferred.


Work Schedule: Full-Time. Onsite. Monday-Friday.


Role Overview:

The Curriculum Developer works with clients, Subject Matter Experts, and Instructional Designer Specialists from the military, government agencies, and private sectors to develop training programs using the ADDIE model and instructional design best practices. This role will create instructional content, and design interactive learning experiences for the end customer.


General Skillset

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

Specific Skillset

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, and courseware developers, to design course information and illustrations
  • Developing products based on storyboards in support of multimedia courseware
  • Design training material and performance support tools
  • Use technical skills, creativity, and experience to come up with new ideas to develop an engaging, interactive learning experience on screen or in a classroom
  • Develop instructional content using common curriculum development software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, and other common content development tools using client formats and styles.
  • Integrate technology into the training environment to include Learning Management Systems (LMSs), assessment tools, electronic surveys, etc.
  • Collaborate with courseware development team members to conduct reviews of developed courseware as required by standardized processes to ensure Instruction methods and sequences are being followed.?
  • Work to ensure training materials meet standards for format and style.
  • Ensure lesson content meets design specifications (e.g., objectives, tasks, instructional methods, strategies, remediation, course structure, duration, and SCORM, cmi5, or xAPI specifications)
Requirements:

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ Years of curriculum development experience is preferred
