Description
Summary:
The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavior Sciences at Alabama A & M University seeks one (1) adjunct faculty members to teach doctoral research courses. The PHD program courses are offered synchronous and asynchronous delivery platforms. Interested candidates should submit credentials for evaluation.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach up to 6 semester hours of graduate courses per semester
  • Design courses for online delivery
  • Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):
  • A terminal degree in any curriculum field with emphasis with research.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience at the college level, preferably in the graduate school or college of professional studies.
  • Evidence of scholarship in the form of research articles, books, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of graduate level content in the specializations mentioned above
