Job Summary
The M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction program at the University of North Georgia is seeking a graduate student research assistant to support the Presidential Special Initiative project, UNG Community Partnerships Advancing STEAM Learning. This position will assist with educational research, community partnership development, curriculum innovation, and scholarly dissemination activities.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design and implementation of grant-related educational research activities.
  • Conduct virtual interviews, focus groups, and other data collection activities with project participants and community partners..
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and contribute to the preparation of research reports and findings.
  • Contribute to scholarly dissemination efforts, including literature reviews, conference proposals, presentations, and manuscript preparation.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks independently

Required Qualifications
  • Must hold a bachelors degree and be currently enrolled student in the UNG M.Ed. Curriculum & Instruction program at the time of application and must remain actively enrolled in the M.Ed. Curriculum & Instruction program through July 2027.
  • GaPSC teaching certificate required
  • Strong academic writing skills and be a current UNG M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction student
