POSITION OPEN:  Director of Commercial Growth 
Instructional Empowerment exists to end generational poverty and eliminate achievement gaps by transforming Tier 1 instruction so every student experiences deeper learning.  As we enter our next phase of  growth, we are seeking a builder to lead our successful business units in the development of commercial systems and greater operational discipline that will accelerate growth.
The Director of Commercial Growth position is for someone who preferably has experience in the K12 educational market. You will be hands on in the leadership role, not inheriting polished systems but building them; not reviewing performance dashboards but creating them; not just coaching managers but developing them. Ultimately, building the commercial engine that will drive IE's next stage of growth.

Your experiences demonstrate
  • Success in building revenue growth in the K12 education sector, B2B, professional services, SaaS, EdTech or consultative sales environments
  • Experience scaling or operating within a business generating $20 million or more in yearly revenue
  • Expertise in leading multiple customer facing functions such as K12 education product marketing, marketing, sales, customer acquisition or revenue operations
  • Proven ability to build processes, teams, dashboards and operational discipline in growing organizations
  • strong understanding of CRM systems, marketing automation demand generation and sales enablement
  • Expertise in using AI to improve commercial performance, productivity, customer engagement or operational effectiveness
  • Exceptional coaching, communication and leadership skills
  • Expertise in developing leaders and building organizational capacity
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision making skills
  • Experience serving K12 education or EdTech organization is preferred but not required

Location: Hybrid  position with some requirement to travel to corporate offices / client locations.
