Job Summary
The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
Support the promotion and engagement efforts of the DMACC Fashion Institute through social media management, content creation, graphic design, student communications, and community outreach.
Create, schedule, and analyze content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Design branded merchandise, marketing collateral, and assist with the production and layout of the editorial magazine.
Operate and maintain DTG/3D printers, track inventory, and support students using design lab equipment.
Promote departmental events and connect students to fashion industry opportunities, internships, and scholarships.
Required Qualifications
Interest in Fashion (Fashion student preferred).
Experience with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
