Job description

Paradigm Education Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Editor to join our Editorial team. This role is responsible for providing developmental and project management support to the successful, profitable, and timely publication of all Paradigm products. The Associate Editor serves as a central communication hub - coordinating with Product Owners, marketing, authors, reviewers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and forward momentum on every project. This position will work in office in Dubuque, Iowa.

What Will You Do?

As an Associate Editor, your daily focus will be managing multiple publishing projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule and free of errors. You will act as the primary project management liaison between Paradigm's editorial team and Publishing Services, GRL, and IT - tracking milestones, managing transmittals, and proactively communicating schedule changes to all stakeholders.

This individual will communicate clearly and professionally with authors and subject matter experts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials, set expectations on deliverables, and follow up diligently on outstanding items. The Associate Editor will thoroughly edit and proof copy, verify photo resolution, and enforce consistent nomenclature across all materials.

Additionally, this role will independently develop, execute, and track product surveys and reviews to inform development strategies - recruiting reviewers, synopsizing feedback, and highlighting actionable insights for product owners and authors. The Associate Editor will also assist Product Owners in meeting marketing needs and communicate product status updates to the marketing team.
