EDI Systems Analyst<>Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled EDI Systems Analyst with expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) to design, implement, and support B2B/EDI and API-based integrations. The analyst will manage trading partner onboarding, build and maintain EDI maps, leverage APIs and web services for integrations, and ensure reliable, secure data flows across internal and external business systems, including Infor M3 CSDE and JD Edwards (E1).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and support EDI processes in Sterling B2Bi, including map development and business process configuration (BPML).
  • Develop and maintain integrations using EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, Flat Files) and modern API/web service methods (REST, SOAP, HTTP/S POST, JSON payloads).
  • Build and maintain trading partner connections using AS2, SFTP, VAN, HTTP/S, and API gateways.
  • Collaborate with trading partners, vendors, and internal IT/business teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with EDI and API transactions to ensure accurate and timely processing of business documents (e.g., 850, 810, 856, 997).
  • Support ERP integrations with Infor M3 CSDE and JD Edwards (E1) through both EDI and APIs.
  • Implement and test new trading partner connections, including API-based onboarding.
  • Maintain documentation of integration flows, mapping logic, and communication protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, SLAs, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi).
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and common transaction sets (850, 810, 856, 997).
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, HTTP POST/GET, JSON, XML) in addition to traditional EDI.
  • Proficiency in communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, VAN, API gateways.
  • Experience integrating EDI/API flows with Infor M3 CSDE and JD Edwards (E1) ERP systems.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across EDI and API transactions.
  • Familiarity with SQL and databases.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based EDI/API platforms and hybrid integration models.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, or Perl).
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem management).
