Job Description:

Essential Functions

  • Act as primary source of input of customer order requirements
  • Review incoming orders, requests for quotation, and future schedules for acceptability
  • Review, interpret and process Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) communications
  • Coordinate build and ship timing and delivery promises with Operations personnel, communicate critical delivery information to customers
  • Identify, follow-up and expedite missed shipments and past due requirements, provide determination of responsibility for unfulfilled shipments
  • Coordinate customer freight requirements within SAP and customer web portals to meet customer shipping expectations
  • Act as primary Allison contact for customers for order and delivery information requests and problem solving related to transmission scheduling, delivery inquiries, lead time and transmission configuration availability
  • Regularly and proactively inform customers of order status
  • Interface with Allison sales account managers and sales engineers to ensure that customer concerns regarding eligibility to purchase, part number cross reference, pricing discrepancies and purchase order inconsistencies are addressed
  • Review requests to ensure compliance with Export Controls, ITAR and EAR requirements
  • Maintain purchase order records and documentation per Allison procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP or ability to learn complex transactional systems quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customerfacing interactions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate crossfunctionally with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation.

Experience & Education Requirement

  • 2 years' experience working in order fulfillment, customer service, supply chain, or related operational roles.
  • Background working with SAP, EDI, or similar business systems preferred.
  • Minimum of Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, systems, or a related field.
