Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for aSeniorSAP Engineerfor OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes.As aSeniorSAP Engineer at Cleveland-Cliffs, you will be part of a team providing support for the SAP production environment as well asparticipatinginstrategic projects as needed.The ideal candidatewill haveprior experience in SAP solutions for steelmaking or manufacturing, be self-motivated,willing to seize opportunitiesfor self-development,and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Thisrole is fully onsite to be performedin one ofCliffsofficeslocatedinCleveland, OH, East Chicago, IN or Westchester, OH.


Summary of Responsibilities

  • Be aFunctional Leaderto manage the production environment for SAP modules employed in the order to cashprocess
  • Responsible for the SAP design of the OTC modules by having a goodend-to-endknowledge of the business process and how the legacy applications fit in withSAP
  • Ensure knowledge of SAP OTC is current by staying up to date within these areas
  • Ensure all new developments conform toSAPstandards
  • Train end users by conducting knowledge sessions andassistingwith userdocumentation
  • Must be abletoact as a liaisonwith Business users to gather requirements, design, and deliver technical solutions related to SAP S/4 forSales and Distribution in relation to Order Management, Pricing, VariantConfigurationand EDI(Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Work with the technicalteamin the designing and development of workflows, reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, and forms(WRICEF). In conjunction with team members,validatethe business design with the users and execute system unit and integration testing
  • Capable of providing overall leadership to others on larger change requests or projectsimpactingmany SAP disciplines
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science,Engineeringor equivalent
  • 5 years SAP SD and working knowledge in other integrated moduleslike MM, FI-AR
  • Experience in a full project lifecycle end to end
  • Strong exposure to EDI's (850, 855, 810,830etc.)
  • Knowledge of RFC's, BAPI's, BADI's, BDC's, User Exits, and enhancementpoints
  • Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs,and flat files
  • Broad technical knowledge - including all key SAP functionality andtechnology
  • Expert in IDOC enhancements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel isrequiredfor less than 10% of the time
  • Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
