Role: Power Builder Developer
They are looking for this person to have experience with SQL, PowerBuilder, Understanding of planning finite scheduling tools, EDI, and label applications. Day-to-day this person will be doing maintenance, support, and documentation. Most of their code and applications do not have documentation, so they are looking to get documentation in place before the SAP S4 upgrades. This person could also help with business analyst activities around current or go-forward apps for the shop floor. The team they would be joining has 2 other developers on it and this team supports two of their plants. One plant is in Terre Haute, IN and the other is in Hazleton, PA. The plant in PA is all remote support and the 2 team members are local to the Terre Haute plant. This team is on call 24/7, but they could break the on call up between the team once this person joins the team. They only get about 1-2 calls per quarter. The plants produce the plastic wrap that go around diapers and plastic bottles.
Some of the apps that this person will be supporting are purchased applications. There is a tool called Tess, which is their finite scheduling tool. Maximo is the plant maintenance application, and Loftware is the label application.
