Professional Summary
Highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk/Customer Service Representative with extensive experience supporting insurance office operations at State Farm. Proficient in managing high-volume inbound calls, handling policy renewals and new business for multiple insurance products, and providing exceptional service to walk-in and phone customers. Adept at assisting with underwriting inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring smooth office workflows. Skilled at pivoting service interactions toward sales opportunities, leading to increased customer retention and business growth. Strong team player with a proven ability to train and coach colleagues on service protocols and billing complexities.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
  • Manage SCW&H, Dover Bay, Flood, and Gainsco policy renewals and new business
  • Monitor flood insurance accounts monthly; contact customers for payments and maintain detailed ECRM notes.
  • Handle 550-600 weekly inbound calls; assist walk-in customers and direct them to appropriate sales team members.
  • Collect payments, process address and lienholder changes, add/swap auto and fire policies, and update renter information.
  • Support underwriting inquiries by following up to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Scan, fax, and upload essential documents including ACORDs and Certificates of Insurance.
  • Confirm sales appointments, develop leads, and pivot service calls to fire and financial services teams regularly.
  • Intake and follow up on claims including ADA and Workers' Compensation.
  • Manage mail distribution, email triage, and credit card security.
  • Assign and track ECRM tasks, ensuring policy changes and renewals are properly documented and closed.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly and assist with billing, Quicken entries, and office supply management.
  • Coordinate holiday messaging, hurricane preparedness materials, and new employee onboarding.
  • Coach team members on service procedures and complex billing issues to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Certifications:
  • SC Property & Casualty License
  • SC Life, Accident & Health License

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
