BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota. Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN. BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction.

Wage:
  • 80k annually and up, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in preliminary budgets, drafting, estimating, coordination, and maintaining of the estimating system, meeting minutes and job communication
  • Complete all project documents and reports in an accurate, complete and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all government and company requirements relating to safety, health and the environment are strictly adhered to and enforced.
  • Direct and supervise activities of each project to achieve performance for quantity and quality of work. This includes on-site training, scheduling, establishing goals and standards.
  • Promote the company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices as they relate to customers, subcontractors, suppliers and the public.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • The ability to read, interpret and understand construction contracts, plans, blueprints and specifications
  • Maintain contact with customers to enhance image and customer relations.
  • Develop new areas for the future expansion of customers and products as required.
  • Work with Architects, Owners, Inspectors and Subcontractors as required to meet specifications, code requirements and customer needs. Attend site inspection meetings as required.
  • Prepare job schedules prior to start of each project to complete the job on time and to specification.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and installation of structures to have a good understanding of customer needs and structure capabilities
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years experience as an Estimator or Project Manager.
  • High School Diploma
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering (Preferred).
  • Proficient in business software applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook etc.)
