The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing learning content that delivers performance outcomes. This role will lead design projects and will be expected to direct external instructional designers on project deliverables and day-to-day duties. Strong knowledge on a variety of learning modalities is highly desirable. Develop solutions that create powerful targeted learning experiences in a variety of modalities: virtual classrooms, eLearning, video, learning pathway, playlists, instructor-led. Contributes to the evaluation and selection of learning technologies for the organization. Apply the Instructional Design process in the organization, and support Sr. Instructional Designer, Program Managers, or Manager on projects.* Project Coordination 20% + Responsible for the management of multiple simultaneous projects. Leverage standard learning project management practices and tools including: charter, scope, schedule, risk and dashboard. Accountable for projects to be delivered on-time, within scope.* Performance Consulting 10% + Partner with senior learning team members, leaders, sponsors and subject matter experts to identify learning opportunities that drive business results. Produce needs analysis, learner personas that deliver innovative, performance-based learning outcomes.
