POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Ecommerce Merchandiser role supports daily management and merchandising of Shopify storefronts, ensuring accurate product setup, engaging site presentation, and timely promotional execution. This role also provides support and learning assistance for Amazon marketplace operations under team guidance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
  • Optimize Amazon listings, A+ Content, product images, keywords, and catalog health.
  • Support Shopify storefront merchandising, product setup, pricing, collections, and promotions.
  • Monitor ecommerce performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, traffic, and average order value.
  • Coordinate promotional launches across Shopify and marketplace channels.
  • Work with Creative to improve merchandising, landing pages, and product presentation.
  • Analyze sales and customer behavior to recommend improvements.
  • Identify and resolve catalog, pricing, inventory, and listing issues.
  • Assist with launching products across multiple ecommerce channels.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams in the United States and Europe on ecommerce initiatives.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve workflows through automation and AI tools.
  • Stay current on ecommerce trends, Amazon updates, and emerging technologies.
Perform additional duties as required to support the department's effective operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity
  • Experience with Shopify Admin and product data management
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (lookups, pivot tables, basic forecasting)
  • Understanding of ecommerce merchandising and visual presentation principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate cross-functionally
  • Clear written communication skills and a creative eye for merchandising
  • 1โ€“2 years of experience in ecommerce operations or merchandising
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems (Alloy, SAP4HANA a plus)
  • Experience supporting promotions or homepage updates
  • Basic understanding of ecommerce performance metrics (conversion rate, AOV)
  • Exposure to marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) is a plus, not required
As a company with products related to the firearms and outdoor sports industry, applicants must be comfortable working in environments where firearms and related equipment are present. WORK ENVIRONMENT amp; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee may be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and operate office machinery and motor vehicles.
  • Must be able to lift to (50) pounds
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
  • Main hours are Monday โ€“ Friday 8am โ€“ 5pm in office.
  • Some travel may be required for trade shows, customer visits, and events.
  • Flexibility is essential to accommodate varying schedules based on business demands. This may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as hours outside of typical departmental operations.
