Job description

About the company:

A fast-paced market leading CPG company operating out of the heart of Massachusetts! The importance of customer experience is what they are passionate about. The company puts quality at the forefront of all their operations, which has allowed them to reach an annual revenue exceeding $10million.

They are looking to expand even furtherโ€ฆ meaning we are currently on the lookout for an experienced operator to own the long-term evolution of their online store.


Expectations:

  • Day-to-Day you will manage the product lifecycle (Introduction, Growth, Maturity and, Decline),
  • Analyze and Develop Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) & Website UX,
  • Creating and maintaining a pipeline of A/B tests in the aim to improve Average Order Value (AOV),
  • Combining strategies into an omnichannel approach, to create a seaming less experience for the online consumer experience,
  • Managing the relationship with both the web and marketing teams, to ensure all digital output is functional, as well as clean and modern,
  • Improve how consumers interact with the website, including navigation, contact points, and cross-selling strategies,
  • Simplify how consumers understand our product specifications digitally, this is not limited to ensuring all listed dimensions and materials are correct,
  • Continuously auditing existing Product Detail Pages (PDPโ€™s),
  • Translating product features into compelling storytelling,
  • To have a detailed understanding of consumer behaviour, like potential hesitations, preferences, and create solutions to fix any arising issues,
  • Guide customers by creating FAQโ€™s, buying guides, and interactive tools,
  • Lead major digital platform design updates,
  • Establish project timelines, and employee expectations,
  • Creating finalised briefs that will be passed on to photographers, interior designers, and editors.


Requirements:

  • Must have 5+ years experience in ecommerce, preferably in a management position, merchandising, and marketing,
  • Preferred experience working with Shopify,
  • An existing portfolio that can showcase a track record of working with physical consumer goods, preference would be with complex and/or premium goods,
  • A deep understanding of consumer psychology,
  • A full understanding of ecommerce data analytics,
  • Someone who is flexible working on a range of projects, from important corporate thinking and decision-making to basic hands-on work,
