Job Title: Energy AdvisorJob Description

The Energy Advisor role focuses on supporting residential and commercial customers with their energy-related inquiries in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. You handle inbound calls, provide expert consultation on energy efficiency programs, analyze usage patterns to resolve billing concerns, and educate customers on conservation solutions that help lower their energy costs. You also promote renewable energy programs while delivering exceptional customer service and meeting departmental performance targets. This position is offered as a remote, 12-month contract with potential for conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a fast-paced queue environment.

  • Provide expert consultation on energy efficiency programs and available conservation solutions.

  • Analyze customer energy usage patterns to identify issues and recommend cost-saving measures.

  • Assist customers with billing inquiries and resolve concerns related to energy usage and charges.

  • Educate customers on strategies to reduce energy consumption and lower their utility costs.

  • Promote and explain renewable energy programs and related offerings to interested customers.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service on every interaction, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.

  • Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the appropriate systems.

  • Meet or exceed departmental performance targets, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics.

  • Multitask effectively by navigating systems, reviewing account information, and communicating clearly with customers at the same time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
