Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Brand Manager, DTC & Hospitality plays a key role in developing and refining the consumer marketing strategy for the DTC channels across JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Landmark Vineyards, and Lewis Cellars. This role partners cross-functionally with ecommerce, wine club, hospitality, agency, PR, and brand teams to support marketing planning, content creation, and packaging development.

This position can be based in our Paso Robles or Los Angeles offices. The role follows a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday-Wednesday, with the option to work remotely Thursday-Friday) and requires up to 25% travel to our tasting room properties in Paso Robles, Sonoma, and Napa, as well as the Los Angeles corporate office.

Job Description
  • Partner with ecommerce, wine club, and hospitality teams to develop annual DTC brand plans, translating goals into channel strategies, priorities, and campaigns that drive sales and growth
  • Collaborate with Hospitality to concept on-property events and experiences, leading development of supporting marketing, messaging, and creative assets
  • Lead planning and execution of the annual content calendar across email, social, web, and wine club; direct photoshoots and create content as needed
  • Oversee brand content across digital and on-property channels (social, email, web, paid media, SEO, blog), ensuring consistent storytelling and brand voice
  • Manage content calendars, production timelines, and internal/external creative partners to deliver high-quality campaigns
  • Review and provide input on DTC agency briefs (email, social, search, direct mail, blog) to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints
  • Partner with social teams to define platform strategy and develop creative, including video; support hands-on content creation as needed
  • Manage influencer and creator programs, including sourcing, briefing, content development, and amplification
  • Partner with DTC and product teams on new product launches, supporting rollout strategy and developing marketing briefs
  • Manage third-party review platforms (Yelp, Google, TripAdvisor), including content, paid media, and optimization
  • Lead creation of on-site collateral across tasting room properties, ensuring materials are on-brand and enhance the guest experience
  • Partner with DTC operations on packaging and merchandise development, ensuring brand consistency
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a strategic, consumer-obsessed marketer with a strong foundation in DTC, brand management, or digital marketing-ideally within wine or beverage alcohol. You excel at translating brand strategy into channel-specific plans and thrive in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments. You're both creative and analytical, equally comfortable developing content, guiding agency partners, reviewing creative, and using data to optimize campaigns.

Highly organized and self-driven, you manage multiple projects with urgency and precision, bringing strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. You understand the dynamics of ecommerce, wine clubs, hospitality marketing, and social media, and you ensure brand consistency across every consumer touchpoint-from digital content to on-property merchandise and packaging.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in DTC, brand management, or consumer marketing; wine or beverage alcohol experience preferred
    • 3+ years of experience working with direct-to-consumer channel preferred
  • Strategic thinking, ability to lead annual planning to implementation and ongoing optimization
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional project management
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising, social media marketing and consumer promotions
  • Strong analytical skills/attention to detail required
  • Self-starter with great organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment without much direction or supervision
  • Exceptional sense of urgency, with strong aptitude for learning and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to lead creative strategy and content development across digital, experiential, and on-property touchpoints
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members, including remote or distributed teams preferred
  • Advanced Excel and MS PowerPoint skills required
  • BA in marketing or related field required

This role shapes how consumers experience our brands across ecommerce, wine club, and hospitality channels, driving growth through integrated marketing, compelling content, and cross-functional partnership.

Growth Path

This role offers opportunities to grow across ecommerce, wine club, social, and hospitality marketing. By leading cross-functional initiatives and shaping channel strategy, you will build the skills needed for broader leadership. With strong performance, this role can progress to Sr. Manager, DTC & Hospitality Marketing.

Your Team

This role will manage a team of (2) Associate Manager, DTC & Hospitality Marketing

Working Conditions

Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) with travel wineries as needed (up to 25%) and to in-market events and sales meetings (up to 10%)

Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000 and may include a discretionary bonus.  Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
