Automated Door Ways, is looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor...

The Field Service Supervisor manages and supports field service technicians, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, ADA requirements, and applicable codes. This role serves as a liaison between field personnel, dispatch, management, and customers.

This role works closely with operations leadership and reports to the General Manager.

Please note: this is an on-site role with limited travel throughout the territory.

In This Role, You Will...

  • Supervise, direct, and support service technicians
  • Coordinate daily and weekly work assignments with dispatch and operations
  • Conduct job site visits to verify quality and safety compliance, and correct unsafe conditions
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, ADA standards, and local codes
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Support the inventory management system, ensuring parts are on hand, assigned to the correct technician, and that technicians are prepared for installation
  • Inspect completed service work
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of service reports, resolution notes, and work orders
  • Address workmanship-related issues and customer concerns

Administrative, Training & Development Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Recommend additional training or certifications as needed
  • Review timecards, service documentation, and job reports
  • Communicate field issues to management and office staff
  • Complete inventory transactions to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Support operational planning and continuous improvement efforts

You've Got What It Takes If You Have...

  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of automatic door operators, sensors, controls, and accessories
  • Working knowledge of ADA standards and applicable safety codes
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strongly Preferred Experience

  • AAADM certification, or the ability to obtain it within a company-defined timeframe
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience supervising multi-site field teams

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to travel regularly to job sites
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
  • Ability to work in varied weather and job site conditions
