Job description

Responsible for working closely with the entire quality team, shipping, supply chain, program managers, engineering, and production flow. To ensure that all required documentation and certifications are correct and scanned into docuware. To finalize First Article Inspection Reports, meeting the customer’s final requirements. Fulfilling duties and responsibilities below.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to scan documents and upload them into the storage system, known as Docuware.
  • Identifies customer specific First Article requirements and ensure all requirements are met prior to First Article submission.
  • Ability to work multiple customers product with accuracy and in a timely mannor.
  • Participates in the improvement process by documenting process improvement opportunities, known as Engineering Change Request.
  • Generates Non-conformance reports on Non-conforming product as needed.
  • Verifies part marking for correctness.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, clock jobs, stamp off current operation, understand work flow and work load required.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Training:

  • Blueprint reading and interpretation
  • First Article Inspection Form completion
  • NCR creation

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

  • Familiar with product and process’s
  • Must understand quality as it relates to total customer service philosophy
  • Must have thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Database software, and Net-Inspect
