Position Summary:

Samyang America is seeking an experienced QA & Technical Documentation Analyst to support the development and deployment of a new Business Partners Portal designed to modernize distributor order management and communication processes.

The portal will be used by external distributors and internal business teams to manage purchase orders, workflow approvals, notifications, status tracking, and document exchanges. The project is expected to significantly reduce manual administrative work, improve operational visibility, minimize human error, and provide a scalable platform to support future business growth.

This role is critical to ensuring that the platform is properly tested, documented, validated, and transitioned into a stable production environment. In addition to quality assurance activities, this position will serve as the primary owner of project documentation, SOP creation, user manuals, testing protocols, recovery procedures, and operational handoff materials.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software quality assurance, business process validation, documentation management, and enterprise system implementation projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and testing schedules

  • Create and execute detailed test cases covering all portal functionality

  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities

  • Validate business workflows, permissions, notifications, uploads, and integrations

  • Track, document, and manage defects through resolution

  • Create and maintain project-wide technical documentation

  • Develop SOPs, user manuals, training materials, and operational guides

  • Create server environment setup, recovery, and restoration procedures

  • Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity testing

  • Support Go-Live readiness reviews and deployment validation

  • Participate in Hypercare and post-launch stabilization activities

  • Coordinate final acceptance testing and project sign-off

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Korean

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, Business Systems Analysis, Technical Documentation, or related fields

  • Experience supporting enterprise software implementation projects

  • Experience designing and executing UAT programs

  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills

  • Experience creating SOPs, operational procedures, and training materials

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Documentation & Governance Requirements

  • All work performed throughout the project must be fully documented and maintained from project initiation through final delivery

  • All testing activities, defects, resolutions, configurations, and operational procedures must be documented

  • Server environment setup and recovery protocol testing are required responsibilities of this position

  • Support knowledge transfer and operational handoff activities before project completion

Contract Completion Requirements

The engagement will conclude only after:

  • All testing activities are completed and approved

  • UAT sign-off is obtained

  • Documentation, SOPs, manuals, and training materials are delivered

  • Server recovery protocol testing is completed

  • Hypercare and stabilization support are completed

  • Final operational handoff is accepted by Samyang America

Contract Terms

  • Initial contract term: 3 months

  • Contract may be extended based on project needs and business requirements

  • Work location: Samyang America, Brea, California

  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Regular on-site attendance is required throughout the project duration


Compensation: $83,200 – $108,160 annual salary (paid pro-rata for 3-month contract)
