Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is currently recruiting for the position of TEMP -- Document Scanner. This position operates document-imaging equipment to create electronic files and archives.
$25/hr. - 30 hours per week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties assigned as necessary.
Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, verifies quality of digital images and stores images according to organizational guidelines.
Requirements/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation required. Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen.
This position is a temporary, two-month assignment.
